Step into the world of Greek mythology and become the hero of your own epic adventure!

Velocity is teaming up with Sword Camp for a private sword-dueling adventure created just for our Velocity families. Participants will enter a world of heroes, monsters, myths, and quests as they learn sword-fighting skills and work together to complete an adventure.

This isn't just about swinging a sword! Sword Adventures combine physical activity, imaginative storytelling, teamwork, strategy, problem-solving, and confidence-building into one unforgettable experience.

Ages 5-18

The kids will be divided into groups based on age.

The Adventure

Our private Velocity group will take part in a custom Greek mythology-themed adventure inspired by the legendary heroes and stories of ancient Greece.

Both Sept dates will be a different story so you can sign up for both adventures.

Participants may find themselves facing mythical challenges, protecting their fellow heroes, solving problems, developing strategies, and—of course—dueling with swords!

Sword Camp's adventures are designed around storytelling and cooperative play. Kids take on the roles of heroes and use sword-dueling skills, planning, teamwork, social skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking to work their way through the adventure.

The Impact

Adventure-based activities give kids an opportunity to build confidence while having fun. Sword Adventures encourage participants to step outside their comfort zone, learn new physical skills, communicate with others, solve problems, and experience the satisfaction of accomplishing something as part of a team.

And perhaps most importantly, kids get to play.

They get to become heroes, tell stories, face challenges, laugh with friends, and create memories that don't feel like school at all.

Cost

Velocity is off setting the cost by $20 a kid! Original cost is $50-55 per person.

The price per kid is $30-35 each (depending on the total number of participants).

Refund Policy

Refunds will be issued for all Sword Adventure classes as follows:

If your plans change and you can no longer make it, let us know ASAP.

We will try our best to fill your spot but a refund is not guaranteed if we have already paid and can not fill your spot.

Inclement Weather

We will send out all weather-related cancellations no less than 1 hour before scheduled start times via email. Sword Adventures may be canceled in the event of inclement weather, or unsafe temperatures. Canceled trips will not be rescheduled.
