Come join us on fun adventures with our new Explorers' Club with Velocity!

We have created a Branch Campus of Colorado Homeschool Enrichment ( CHE ) CHE is a state funded program that offers enrichment to homeschoolers and nonpublic school educated students. In order to participate in this program your student cannot be enrolled in any other state funded enrichment program. You may only access this funding if you are not utilizing it for another state-funded homeschool enrichment program.

We are not a drop-off program. Parents are required to stay onsite and help in some capacity.

Explorers' Club with Velocity

To register you first need to go to Colorado Homeschool Enrichment ( CHE )

1. Create an account.

2. Add your children.

3. Select "Enroll in a campus/program"

4. Choose "Velocity" as your program and fill out the rest of the required information

5. Then you need to register through Velocity's registration portal at the top of this page.

 

Schedule - Mondays and Wednesdays

Our program runs August 1st - June 7th.

The schedule is not offically set yet but most of our activities will happen morning and early afternoon. We are offering 100+hrs of enrichment a semester. Your family does need to commit to joining in at least 90 hours each semester.

Our Velocity Sports will be included in the program on Mondays (Soccer, Track & Kickball).

Some Mondays we will also have additional classes like fencing, and art classes. These classes will be offered following our sports at the same locations.

Wednesdays and non-sport Mondays will be our adventure days. We are still finalizing everything but here is a list of adventures we plan to offer.

Cost: Free!

As long as you are not enrolled in any other state funded program, Explorers Club is free! We, (Velocity) will recieve $2,500 per kid enrolled to fund our adventures.

Family Participation - Required

Explorers Club is family-focused.  Our activities are for the whole family. 

As such, we are not a drop-off program.  Parents are required to stay onsite and help in some capacity.

Location

Our sports and many of the classes will be offered in Westminster and surounding areas.

We will have day trips to slightly farther locations: Golden, Boulder, Longmont, Colorado Springs.

We are planning up to one overnight trip per semester. You will be responsible for lodging costs.

Limited Space

Inclement Weather

We will send out all weather-related cancellations no less than one hour before scheduled start times via email.

Explorers Club may be canceled in the event of inclement weather, facility closure or unsafe temperatures.

Canceled events will try to be rescheduled.
